An inside view in the makings of luxury headphones

January 2, 2017

Stylish, tech savy and the ultimate the definition of luxury - This is what Master & Dynamic's headphones are. These modern thinking caps block out any noise besides your favorite tunes.

But, as usual, with luxury comes a combination of price and quality.  That's why I went behind the scenes in the making of a luxury headphone.

Here's what I found out:

While most wireless headphones trade metal for plastic, these babies can never be broken.

You can drop them from the rooftop (although you probably you won't find that statement in their  marketing campaign..)  these luxury headphones are produced through a combination of patent-pending stainless steel componentry .

Also, while most headphones are known to be pretty heavy on your head, luxury headphones are meant to be light and thin. So, when I reviewed M&D MH30 edition, they were anything but. Seriously, I even forgot to take them off at times..whoops.

This is because the headphones are made with 40mm Neodymium High-Performance Drivers. In non-technical terms - that's pretty much the highest quality of sound you can get...ever.  And most importantly, don't forget  the sound. This audio company uses woven cables, M& D's oxygen-free copper ensures pure sound and reduced noise.

And finally, there's always one indication a company plays an active role in the luxury industry - it's collaboration with other luxury companies. Because strength is often found in unity, M&D recently collaborated with British Luxury automotive company Aston Martin. Those attending the VIP experience at Aston Martin are now able to enjoy virtual test drives with Master&Dynamic headphones.

Now that's luxury y'all.
